Bob and John started the band in November 2004 with the idea of being a folk duo, but as soon as they started writing together it became apparent that there were so many possibilities that could be explored. Wilbor joined shortly after and began a monumental song-writing spree that started to define the band's unique style. In May 2005 Ben joined and the lineup was complete, his style of percussion so typical of the band's eclectic sound.
