Pop | | Alex (originally from N.Yorkshire) is a professional drummer, singer/songwriter, guitarist & teacher. Louise (originally from Lincolnshire) is a professional vocalist & dancer. The Wigglers are an excellent acoustic duo playing funky covers & fantastic original material written by Alex!!! So far they have played many different venues & functions all over the UK including: Thomson Emerald Cruise Ship, Private Partys, Richmond Live, Certificate 18 (York), The Bootlegger, Royal Oak, Etherington Arms (Grimsby), Viva Viva, O'neils (London), County Arms (Northallerton) to name a few. Both have provided Backing Vocals for other artists Live and in the studio. The Wigglers provide total entertainment from their great vocal skills and harmonies to the playful banter. The Wigglers are adaptable to any venue or occasion whether it be a sophisticated wedding reception or a funky all out party. With a wide variety of songs (see set list example) they are sure to please everyone. Alex & Louise put together a music festival in 2007 'DEIGHTON FEST' ( www.myspace.com/DeightonFest07) which proved very popular and so returned in 2008 bigger & better! Deighton fest was organised from scratch by Alex & Louise (and some very handy helpers) which included: sorting bands, invites, theme, set up, PA, food/drink, performing, decorations etc. Deighton Fest 09 is being thought about already....gonna be even bigger and better with more bands asking if they can play! As well as The Wigglers both Alex & Louise also have solo projects and goals. Alex is becoming extremely sought after for drumming session work (live & studio) with signed artists seeking him out for live gigs and tours. He also provides drum lessons and is currently working on a new album which he hopes to record in 2009.
