| | | 6 | Stereo | Thu,4th Jun | | Not seen these guys since they romped to triumph in the stone roses botb. Still utterly in awe of anyone brave enough to take a laptop on stage with them - infact as I remember it conked out on them last time leading to an impromptu acapella finale. Big disappointment here is that despite headlining a large portion of the crowd decided to bugger off after the support acts - that always gets my goat up and it's never made any sense to me - why Bother paying to get into a gig and then buggering off before the main act? Despite their success at botb I still believe these guys are work in progress and not quite the polished act but they have a distinct sound going with Industrial electronica at it's heart - Fans of Testtone3 inparticular should be giving these guys a looksy.
Once again score tonight courtesy of the albeit reduced crowd - democracy rules!!! - yorknights |
