Usually theres just me and my guitar but I often have the pleasure of making music with some other, rather talented folks. I've been playing solo gigs for what seems like a lifetime now, and loving every minute of it! I've played in some fantastic venues, supporting people such as Clive Gregson, John Otway, Keith James and Rick Foot. I'm just finishing my first album "Not Before Time", which will be available very soon! I've played all the instruments myself on this album, and I'm already working on a new EP with some great musicians, which will follow the first album shortly afterwards. I've also been recording acoustic guitar for Dan Webster's first Album release, "Diamond Land", which has already been played several times on BBC Radio 2. If there is a more polished musician playing in town tonight you can keep him. Andy's melancholic and bluesy songs are what acoustic nights are all about. Although playing at a gig which frankly isn't as full as it should be - 4 amazing acts on and all for free (check this space in a few weeks though when the students are back in town and the Melbourne starts to fill up). Pleasing to all young and old, Andy is a safe bet for music in York - if he's playing you won't regret turning up to hear him play.
