My name's Jonny I'm a singer song-writer living in York. I was born in Scunthorpe and moved to York about 6 years ago after I finished my drama degree.

It's hard for me to describe my music, other than saying its acoustic. I've always found it difficult to write a song that sits in the middle, they tend to be one extreme or the other. So I coined the phrase of 'Light and Dark acoustic' which I think describes my music pretty well. I just sing about what I know, about what's real to me, and where I've been, be it good or bad. Human emotion plays a big part in my music and I can't help but leave a piece of myself in all of my songs.

The live shows are where it's at, and for me, there's nothing quite like playing in front of an audience.
