Here is a songwriter and performer overflowing with talent and, importantly, the common touch. Cast&s powerful riff-packed pop songs with soaring harmonies and gorgeous hooks sucked you in every time, oozing good vibes and optimism. And songwriter/guitarist/singer John Power, also a founder member of The La&s (There She Goes) run by Liverpool visionary Lee Mavers, has become something of a institution as a mystic soul brother with a wide eyed vision on life, love and the universe. John, you&ve been away too long. Welcome back. ID IS ESSENTIAL!!   Add Review

Not had the pleasure of seeing Joe live since tha last time he supported Yoav at the Junction. That night Joe's vocals were apparently suffering from a nasty attack of man flu, not that I noticed - his singing was spot on that as I remember. Tonight though, with a full bill of health, he soared - Joe's singing, like his songs, are full of passionate enthusiasm that draws in the most stoic crowd. Not that this lot needed any encouragement - Joe's following is slowly increasing with each gig and word is getting out about this homegrown acoustic gem. After the last gig I tried in vain to book him for my girlfriends birthday party (exams intervened)- this time I don't think I can afford him! A guaranteed crowd pleaser - Do yourselves a favour, get yourselves on our email alert, check out his myspace and check him out soon! - yorknights
