On the 8th September 2006, an energetic guitarist (Jamie) and a nervous drummer (Jack) met at Mount Farm to practice covering the songs 'Seven Nation Army' and 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'. 'Nicotine' and 'Money and Fame' were the band's first couple of songs but without a singer, the hits almost sounded bland. Jamie, Jack, William and Robert searched high and low for a potential singer and eventually realised that his curly locks were bouncing up and down in front of them the whole time. William became the singer and with this, the songs came to life. 'Potential to Succeed', 'Marmite Memories' and 'Going Nowhere' were added to the list of singles and now the sky is the limit for Thrive... |
