Their aggressive high energy live shows have earned them sponsorship from ESP Guitars, Bolt Streetwear and tours with such luminaries as Funeral for A Friend, Minus, Orange Goblin, Raging Speedhorn, Murder One, Biohazard and a London support with US metalcore champions, Unearth.
After both the success of 2004's 'Blueprint for a Brighter Future' and regular Scuzz TV airplay (for the promo video of 'Reborn'), RSJ gained there first stateside release on a compilation titled 'Raw Aggression' through Rotting Corpse Records.
September 2005 saw the York four-piece release their first full length debut album titled 'Reflections in B Minor' through Copro Records. Produced by Dave Chang at Philia Studios the 12 track has already gained stunning reviews from both the mainstream and street-level media. | | Click here to be notified for upcoming gigs for Rsj | | | Sat,6th Sep 08 | The Duchess | | On the eve of recording next album in Germany, a rare local appearance from York&s searing and inventive alt-rock heroes drawing on 80s metal. Are they the UK&s Trivium?More Info Add Review | | Sat,24th May 08 | Fibbers | | RSJ should be declared a biohazard and an area of special scientific interest all at the same time. Way way off the Richter Scale with enormous blasts of hardcore metal on a truly seismic scale. And there is no other way to listen to RSJ than at ear-splitting of volume. Think Fantomas on cheap speed or Meshuggah on an experimental day. Whatever, the filthy noise made by York&s RSJ is just what we need.
