Indie, Progressive, Experimental British Punk or just Rock, four- piece Manifestos distinctive sound continues to elude categorisation. Equally as hard to categorise as their songs are to forget, Manifesto are a band who never stops going from strength to strength. The two sets of northern brothers that are Manifesto, formed at the beginning of 2003 with little more than a drum stick between them. Theirs is a classic story of start a band and learn how to play and it is from learning the hard way, with determination and time, that Manifesto have developed into a band with a special bond and an undeniable edge to their music. Always ambitious and never satisfied with learning a set full of covers, Manifesto would begin their history with a long stint in the studio, preparing a strong set of original material before heading out to do any gigs.

Battle Of The Bands - Qualifier   Add Review

The comparisons to Biffy Clyro will come thick and fast for Twin Atlantic. The Scottish accents and the long, shaggy hair give them more than just music in common. But judge this new quartet on their own merits, they&ve certainly got enough about them to suggest their own personalities will become more defined as time passes. Certainly, if their set can be interpreted somewhat symbolically, it&s the next part of this band&s career we should be looking forward to most. ID IS ESSENTIAL ! !   Add Review
